[Update] New audio content type targeting options — Q3 2026
Essence: DV360 is introducing new IAB-aligned audio content categories, including Catch-up radio, Web radio, Video game, and Text-to-speech.
Why this matters: Some inventory previously classified as “Unknown content type” may move to the new categories. Review your audio targeting to avoid losing available inventory.
[Update] Save YouTube Instant Reserve deals in an unquoted state — August 2026
Essence: You will be able to save YouTube Instant Reserve line items in a draft state without securing a quote or committing to a contract.
Why this matters: This gives more flexibility when building and adjusting deals before final commitment.
[Update] Coming soon: Legacy video line items deprecation — October 2026
Essence: Legacy mCPV and Video reach 1.0 line items are being phased out.
Why this matters: Active campaigns must be migrated to Video View and newer Video Reach line items before October 26, 2026. Remaining legacy line items will be paused and archived.

[Update] Web/App split for Floodlight conversions — August 2026
Essence: New Google Analytics properties linked to Floodlight Configurations will automatically split Floodlight conversions between web and app streams.
Why this matters: Existing setups will remain unchanged, but this new default should be considered for future integrations
[Update] Streamlined DCO Video workflow — September 2026
Essence: DCO Video is expanding to all Studio accounts with the modern Studio 2.0 interface and feed-based targeting.
Why this matters: The update simplifies DCO setup and makes it easier to manage pre-generated video variants.
[Update] YouTube trafficking workflow — September 2026
Essence: A new workflow will allow YouTube assets and creative details to be managed directly in Campaign Manager 360 and synced to Display & Video 360.
Why this matters: This simplifies YouTube trafficking and expands support for formats including Demand Gen and Target Frequency.

[Update] Updated conversion window configuration — August 11, 2026
Essence: Google Analytics conversions now support custom integer lookback windows for click-through conversions (CTC) and engaged-view conversions (EVC).
What’s changing: EVC conversion windows can now be set to any value from 1 to 30 days, instead of the fixed 3-day window. CTC conversion windows can be set to any value from 1 to 90 days, instead of only the predefined 1, 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90-day options.
[Update] Campaign data import validation report — August 10, 2026
Essence: Google Analytics has introduced a new validation report for campaign data imports.
What’s changing: The report helps assess non-Google and imported campaign data, identify campaigns with missing performance information such as cost, clicks, and impressions, and review previously imported data.
Why this matters: Advertisers can more easily identify data quality issues and improve the accuracy of imported campaign reporting.
[Update] New diagnostic for aggregate parameter issues — July 30, 2026
Essence: Google Analytics now provides a diagnostic when aggregate identifiers such as GBRAID and gad_ are missing from URLs.
Why this matters: The diagnostic highlights affected URLs and provides ways to resolve the issue, helping maintain campaign data accuracy and improve measurement.
